Emma has over twenty years’ experience of working in the public and philanthropic sector. She is currently Head of Funded Partnerships at Comic Relief UK and is responsible for identifying global funding opportunities to drive social change. Emma worked for many years in the Health field and has technical expertise in early child development and Maternal health; she sat on the UK Government’s National Child & Adolescent and Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Advisory Board and the Modernizing Maternity Services Taskforce group. Emma currently sits on the Board of the International Elevate Children Funders Group (ECFG) and is a Grants Committee member at Comic Relief USA. She has a background in the performing arts and is passionate about the power of storytelling and exploring how popular culture and narratives can act as a catalyst for social change.
